Our Mission

Picture
Our mission at Sweet Blackberry is to bring little known stories of African American achievement to children everywhere.

These triumphant stories of individuals surmounting the odds and making invaluable contributions to our society are inspirational and empowering, but our schools often lack the time and resources to teach our children more than a handful of stories of African Americans in history.

The Concept for Our Children
