October 12th, 2015 Did you know that Wilt Chamberlain won two NBA championships, four regular season MVP awards, one NBA Final MVP award and was inducted into Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1978?  September 22nd, 2015 Did you know that Florence Griffith-Joyner won 3 gold medals and one silver medal at the 1988 Olympics?  Before he was a renowned artist, Romare Bearden was an aspiring baseball player. The Philadelphia Athletics recruited Bearden on the condition that he would pass as white. He declined the offer, deciding to focus on his art instead.  |
